Club Together
The Service Personnel and Veterans Agency and Xafinity Paymaster have recently contacted some ex-Service pensioners to establish if there is any interest in enhancing the services we jointly offer to pension customers. Xafinity Paymaster make all Armed Forces Pension Scheme payments on behalf of SPVA. The current aim is to allow assessment of whether those in receipt of Armed Forces Pensions would wish to benefit from the kind of combined purchasing power and services that Xafinity offer to their other pension customers, through their Club Together scheme (for example NHS pensioners) and to other groups (eg Royal Naval Association).
Therefore a number of Service pensioners have been sent a short survey asking for their views together with a prepaid envelope to enable its return at no cost. Importantly, the form also allows individuals to proactively opt-in and receive a quarterly magazine containing information on a range of issues along with details of benefits and offers. It also offers the chance to opt-out of any further communications on the subject.
SPVA wishes to reassure customers that, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, no data or personal details has been, or will be, provided to any third party organisation or database. Furthermore no-one will be automatically enrolled into the scheme, only those choosing to opt in will be sent the free quarterly magazine. We would also emphasise that this is being offered at no cost to individual pensioners and at no cost to the pension scheme.
More details on Club Together can be found at www.club-together.org and Ex-Service pensioners can opt-in or opt-out of the scheme at any time by contacting the Club Together Customer Helpline (operated by Xafinity Paymaster) on 0800 234 6513. |
