Social contacts and everyday help

Loneliness is often the most difficult problem that can face someone if they have difficulty getting out and about. The welfare service can usually arrange visits from a volunteer. These visitors are usually from your local area and have knowledge of local services you might be interested in.

There are many charitable and ex-Service organisations who may be able to give you assistance.
