Scope
The aim of the Association is to assist serving and retired Light Infantrymen who are in need. All ranks with regular or embodied service in the following Regiments and their dependants, are eligible for assistance:

• The Light Infantry
• The Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry
• The Somerset Light Infantry
• The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry
• The King's Shropshire Light Infantry (including the Herefordshire Regiment/Light Infantry)
• The Durham Light Infantry
• The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry

Types of Help

General financial assistance eg,

• Clothing
• Bedding
• Removal expenses
• Convalescent holidays
• Help towards fuel bills.
