Scope
Provides counselling and financial assistance to all that have lost a limb
or eye (or use of same) as a result of, or during, service in HM Forces.
Offers advice on all matters concerning pensions and allowances and provides
representation at Tribunals when required. Provides residential, convalescent
and routine holiday accommodation for its members and other categories
of war pensioners. Provides rehabilitation events and acts as a watchdog
for the Artificial Limb and Appliance Service.

Scope
The aim of the League is to ensure that no commonwealth ex-servicemen or
women, widows or dependants shall be without help if in need.
No assistance is given to anyone in the UK
Types of Help
The League has a dedicated Welfare Fund but also acts as an overseas agent
for the Army Benevolent Trust, Royal Naval Benevolent Trust, Royal Air
Force Benevolent Fund and all Corps and Regimental Associations for the
dispersal of monies, and the provision of counselling and enquiries work.
Financial help for many differing requests is given but is
limited mainly to assisting with small grants to those in real distress compared
with their neighbours.
