“WE WERE THERE” EXHIBITION – WINTER DATES
The Ministry of Defence’s “We Were There” exhibition highlights
the contribution made to defence over the past two hundred and fifty years
by Britain’s ethnic minority communities who served in the armed forces.
Workshops on the exhibition are conducted in secondary schools and colleges
and there is also a booklet and website www.wewerethere.mod.uk
The exhibition
has been on tour since 2006 and is open to the general public. In June
this year, the exhibition visited both Parliament and Birmingham as part
of the Veterans Day celebrations.
