THE FAMILY ACCIDENT SCHEME AVAILABLE TO VETERANS
The Family Accident Scheme is a FREE personal injury
compensation scheme available to all MOD personnel including friends, family,
dependants and also veterans and their families who have been injured by
somebody else. All types of accidents are covered including: road traffic
crashes, slips, trips, falls and, in some cases, assaults.
The scheme is free
of charge and operates on a conditional fee basis (commonly known as ‘no-win,
no-fee’) this means that any legal sustainable claim submitted to Ralli
solicitors will be dealt with free of charge to the individual. If the claim
is successful, all legal costs will be reclaimed separately from the insurance
company of the person or body at fault. This means that the claimant
will keep 100% of the compensation awarded. If the claim is unsuccessful
there will no charge to the claimant, as the costs will be borne by an insurance
policy, which is placed and paid for by Ralli solicitors.
If a veteran or
any other entitled person have been involved in an accident in the past 3
years that was not their fault then they may have grounds for a claim
