BENEFITS AND MONEY ADVICE SERVICE
Working in partnership, making a difference
Debt and benefit advice can be accessed and provided to serving and ex-service personnel, their families and dependants, including those who have had no previous contact or relationship with the RBL or RAFBF, through four regional case workers or by calling 0845 2 66 66 96 from anywhere within Northern Ireland. The service also offers advice and information via email at rbl.rafbf@citizensadvice.co.uk.

The Benefits and Money Advice service, funded by the Royal British Legion and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund and provided by Citizens Advice, offers advice and support to the Forces and ex-Forces community and their families throughout N. Ireland, ensuring that those who put their lives on the line for their country have the help and support they need to live free from financial distress.
RBL/RAFBF Benefit and Money Advisors offer free, independent and impartial support and all discussions are completely confidential. Advisers are familiar with the complexities of life in the Armed Forces and with the specific concerns of individuals and families with military connections. The service seeks to maximise clients’ incomes and resolve outstanding financial issues, with referrals made to other sources of assistance if necessary. This could include support from Service charities, which can provide opportunities such as welfare breaks, help with accommodation or grants.
