New Web Pages help veterans in prison

Shelter have created some new pages on their website specifically for practitioners working with offenders. 'Prisoners and ex-offenders' provides information on many issues affecting prisoners and ex-offenders

- keeping a home when in prison, eviction, housing benefit when on remand and following conviction, where to get help, money on release and so on. There are links to practical resources such as special housing benefit claim forms for offenders at all stages through the criminal justice system. 'People in the armed forces' provides information on housing rights, homelessness and money issues affecting people in the forces, their families and those who have left, even if this was some time ago.
