Show your support for Armed Forces Day.

Armed Forces Day is fast approaching and hundreds of events are being organised up and down the UK, from Aberdeen to Cornwall and Carrickfergus to Dover, where people will gather to show their support for the Armed Forces Community on and around Saturday 25 June.

This year’s national event, a three-day extravaganza, is being held in Edinburgh from 24 – 26 June, with over 1,000 serving personnel and veterans marching down the historic Royal Mile, military bands, exciting displays, tours of the Royal Navy ship HMS Portland, a veterans village and live entertainment from acts such as the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

British seaside towns and cathedral cities are providing a backdrop to salute our Armed Forces with fun for all the family, including a parachute display in Folkestone, acrobats in Staple Hill Bristol, fairground rides in Southport, and a motorcycle display in Leith. Air displays will paint the skies, from the Red Arrows to vintage aircraft and Blue, the UK’s entry to the Eurovision Song contest, will play in Aylesbury. Lingfield Park Racecourse is holding the Armed Forces Day Stakes, and Crown Carveries who are showing their support with great offers.
