FA OFFERS 400 FREE TICKETS FOR TROOPS FOR FA CUP SEMI FINALS

The Football Association has today announced they will be providing 100 FREE tickets for members of the Armed Forces for each of the FOUR teams in next weekend's FA Cup semi-final matches between Aston Villa and Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur v Portsmouth at Wembley Stadium.
The Aston Villa v Chelsea match takes place at 5pm next Saturday, April 10th with Tottenham Hotspur facing Portsmouth on Sunday, April 11th with a 4pm kick-off.

The initiative sees The FA again teaming up with Tickets for Troops, an independent charity dedicated to offering free tickets to major cultural, sporting and musical events to the nation’s soldiers, sailors and airmen.

All serving military personnel as well as any veterans who have been medically discharged through injury since 2001 qualify for tickets and need to register for tickets at www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk.
An FA spokesperson said: "We are delighted to support our Armed Forces in this way as a small token of our thanks for their courage and sacrifice."

Tickets For Troops Chairman Lord Marland said: “The FA has proved to be a fantastic supporter of Tickets For Troops and we know we are making a significant different to the lives of our Armed Forces by recognising them in this way.”
