WWII Veterans for New BBC History Series
The BBC is working on a new series exploring the history of war
logistics; how do you move, feed and kit an army? It’s a much harder
task than most people realise, with a very interesting history.
One of the stories we are covering is the demobilisation of military
personal. We are looking for a veteran from the Second World War
who would be willing to talk to us about their experience. We would
be asking about the frustrations of slow demobilisation, their homecoming,
the demobilisation process and about their eventual return to civilian
life after the war.
If at all possible, we would be very interested in speaking to
anyone who was involved in the January, 1946 RAF mutiny in India.
If you think you can help, or have any further questions, please
get in touch via the contact details below.
We look forward to hearing from you!
