70th Anniversary of the Battle of Crete

The commemoration event for the 70th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF CRETE (WWII) will take place this weekend,  20 and 22 May 2011 Crete.

HRH the Duke of Gloucester and the UK Min ister for Defence Personnel Welfare and Veteran will be attending the events, together with a number of veterans from all over the world. A display from the Red Arrows has also been scheduled.
