Are you a female veteran who served in the First or Second World War?
 
I’m doing a series of news features looking at the changing role of women to coincide with the 90th anniversary of women winning the right to vote. As part of the series I’ll be exploring the contribution women made during the First and Second World Wars and how the roles they occupied helped bring about social change.
 
It’s for a regional news programme called Lookaround which covers the south of Scotland, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.
 
I’m looking for women veterans from this area to speak to about their experiences during the war, the jobs they filled and how this influenced their lives after the war.
