We aim to meet people’s needs as far as possible in a practical way, as well as providing opportunities for people to move forward and deal with issues in their lives that may be a problem.
Access is by membership only however new applicants are assessed promptly for membership. Members are allocated a key worker who will offer ongoing support and assistance.
We provide basic services such as meals, laundry facilities and a shower room for rough sleepers. We offer advocacy and signposting to other agencies for people with housing and drug and alcohol problems. We also provide assistance with personal development as part of a training programme for all clients, and drug support work including advice on harm minimisation and relapse prevention.
Opening Hours
Mon-Fri from 10.00am – 1.30pm
Breakfast is provided 10am-11am and lunch is served at 12.30pm.
Open in the afternoon 2pm – 3.30pm for group activities such as music classes, art classes, IT and mutual support group.

Key Role & Activities
Providing Legal Advice and Assistance to anyone within the County Borough
threatened with homelessness, or experiencing problems with housing.
Service provided Monday - Friday, 11am - 2pm. Monday and Tuesday drop-in sessions, appointments available the rest of the week. Telephone advice also available. When necessary, home visits may be arranged. Clients should bring with them relevant paperwork, and proof of any benefit entitlement.

The homeless section provides advice and assistance to those clients who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Temporary accommodation may be provided depending on individual circumstances and within the duties contained in the Homelessness Act 2002.
