Each year Shelter helps 100,000 people suffering from a wide range of housing problems. We can help you if you are:
- Homeless
- Having problems with your landlord
- Facing eviction
- Living in run-down, dangerous or overcrowded housing
- Having trouble paying the rent
- Experiencing problems with anti-social behaviour
- Living in temporary accommodation

Our advisors may be able to help you straight away, or they will tell you where to go to get the help you need. Shelterline offers a translation service for callers who prefer to use a language other than English, and also a textphone facility for hearing impaired callers.
