Policy, Research and Information

Crisis undertakes policy and research development through the Policy and Strategy team. Our policy work covers a range of issues, including; learning and skills, employment, housing, crime and health. Our aim is to influence policy makers in Government and the voluntary sector by engaging positively and pro-actively with the external political environment, using the insights from our research and project work to make the case for specific changes to policy at all levels to improve the lives of homeless people. Crisis commissions and publishes high quality research to raise awareness of the causes and nature of homelessness, to find innovative and integrated solutions to it and to share good practice.
