A life lived: experiencing an acquired facial difference

Research Associate & PhD student Anne-Marie Martindale at Liverpool University's Health Services Research Department is conducting research on acquired facial difference and is currently recruiting 20 individuals to take part in the study. The research aims to explore what living with facial difference is really like from the individuals' perspective, who have suffered an injury and have lived with their injury for at least the last two years.

This research will be vital in reducing stigma and ignorance around facial injuries and allows participants to share their experiences. All findings from the research are anonymised and no individual will be indentifiable in any report findings. The research is also supported by Changing Faces and Lets Face it.

Any veterans who are interested in this research and who wish to find out more information to potentially take part;

Please see the attached flyer.
